This notice is for Mainland China residents as required by the Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL) and is intended to be a supplement to the Greystar Global Privacy Statement.

Please review this notice prior to providing your Personal Information. In providing such Personal Information, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your Personal Information as described in this Privacy Policy. We will seek your separate consent where required by law.
PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Greystar collects the following categories and specific pieces of Personal Information regarding data subjects in Mainland China:
- Contact Information such as name, postal address, phone number, email address, date of birth, picture, WeChat ID, and emergency contact details.
- Other Personal Identifiers such as user/account name, residence registration, passport number, identity card, and resident identification number.
- Financial and Commercial Information such as lease and rent information.
- Internet or other electronic network activity information through the use of our websites such as browsing history, search history, internet protocol address, cookie identification number, information regarding consumer’s interaction with a website, and internet postings. - Sensory data such as surveillance cameras in common areas.
We collect this information from you and other sources as described in the Greystar Global Privacy Statement.
HOW AND WHERE WE COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We may collect Personal Information through the following:
- Online Services. We collect Personal Information when you interact with our Online services which may include, but are not limited to, searching for an apartment, communicating with us, posting to social media pages, or participating in a survey.
- Property Owners. Our residential properties may be owned by other investors who share personal information with us for the purposes of managing the property and providing you services.
- Property Visits and Offline Interactions. We collect your Personal Information when you visit our properties, attend events hosted at our properties, and/or inquire about housing directly with our properties.
- Other Sites and Third Parties. We may use separate sites for the processing of your inquiries and agreements and to assist our residents and service providers with other tasks which are required or helpful to them, such as paying rent online. We also process your information when you share it with us through other social media or communication platforms, such as WeChat. If you are a corporate resident or you have a property agent, we may also receive your information from your corporate representative or property agent, respectively.
Where legally required, we will obtain your consent before collecting or processing your Personal Information.

DATA TRANSFERS
Personal Data collected from tenants in Mainland China is localized (hosted/stored) in Mainland China. However, your Personal Information may be transferred or accessed by Greystar team members or service providers located outside of Mainland China (including the United States) for purposes of maintenance, technical support, or legal and compliance activities. The data protection and privacy laws and principles in those countries/regions may not offer the same level of protection as those in Mainland China. Under those circumstances, Greystar will take all necessary action to ensure that your data is transferred and protected in a manner consistent with what is expected under laws of Mainland China.
